Presidency School Bangalore North’s Valedictory Ceremony on January 31st was a truly unforgettable celebration, filled with pride, joy, and excitement for the future. The event embraced the inspiring theme “Se Lever” – Rise Up! reminding students to never give up on their dreams.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Chairperson & Executive Director Education, Innovations & Training DLF Schools & Chairperson, Global Inclusive Education Network (GIEN), Dr. Nafeesa Ahmed, Director of PGS, Dr. Angelo Michael D’Cruize and his wife Mrs. Jaunita D’Cruize, and Dr. J Bhuvaneshwari, Director, Presidency School Bangalore South, Principals from Bishop Cotton Girls School, St. Joseph’s Boys School, and NITTE International School also joined, along with faculty, staff, parents, and students.
The festivities began with a Guard of Honour, followed by a welcome dance and uplifting choir performances. A special moment was the unveiling of the phoenix mascot, symbolizing “Se Lever,” by the Chief Guest and Nihal, a Grade 9 cancer survivor, embodying resilience. A stunning theme dance further captured the dreams of the graduates.
The Director’s Address and the Chief Guest’s speech inspired students, while the Valedictorian Speech was a heartfelt mix of emotions and humour. A video montage reminisced cherished school memories, followed by parent testimonials. The Candle Lighting Ceremony and Corridor of Blessing marked a touching conclusion before a grand dinner, making it a truly memorable farewell for the graduates.
