Creating Leaders who Care and Share

Presidency School, Bangalore North installed its newly elected Student Council Members to the Cabinet.

Dr. Vidya Shetty, Director Higher Education and New Initiatives , Presidency Group was the Chief Guest for the day while Mr. G. Thangadurai, Director Presidency Group of Schools was the guest of honour.

The choir invoked the blessings of the Almighty through the melodious rendition of “ He is my Everything”, followed by the official proceedings of Installation of the Office Bearers. The Chief Guest and the Guest of honour handed out the badges, sash and the house flags to the new student body while the Principal, Ms. Pushpy Dutt administered the oath to office.

Aniruddh and Sanjana of Grade 11 were sworn in as the Head Boy and Head Girl for the Academic Year 2016-17 while Dhruv and Sreeya were designated as the Associate Head Boy and Head Girl.

The ceremony also had the felicitation of the Toppers at the Grade X Boards 15-16. Aniruddh Sujish and Nityabala were honoured for their achievements and felicitated.

The Principal in her address  reinstated the belief that Leaders are the role models who inspire the followers and motivate them to reach the target of success”  .Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being powerful and caring at the same time making them best citizens.

The Chief Guest , Dr. Vidya Shetty thanked the Parents for taking time out to be there for their children, to watch them take baby steps towards effective leadership. This encouragement surely has added the twinkle in the eyes of all the students who stood extra proud to be leaders , having achieved this on their merit.

The new leaders thanked the School for its belief in them and pledged to take the school forward, in every little way they could.

The ceremony came to a close with the choral singing of the National Anthem.
