Presidency School, Bangalore North celebrated Children’s Day with zest and fervour as the performances revolved round the Theme-“God still loves the world and so He gave children”.

The teachers donned took charge of the Assembly which otherwise is done by children and wove the script into it.
The song “God bless the children all over the world” touched all with the beautiful rendition by the teachers which was soul stirring and mellifluous.
The skit “Are you Ready Eddy” had the children in splits when they saw their teachers essaying the roles of errant students. The message conveyed through the play however trickled into the audience, where most of them could relate to it. Being punctual is the In thing and it is here to stay!
What rocked the stage was a foot tapping performance when teachers put on their dancing shoes and presented a medley of dances. Itni si hasin added permanent smiles on all faces and students were mighty surprised to see the hidden talents that lit up the stage and their special day.
The icing on the cake was when the Principal, Ms. Pushpy Dutt donned the role of a little student who had been asked to speak about Chacha Nehru. The students were in splits to see their Principal narrate like a little naughty child, who as bouts of forgetfulness and looks for prompts from all around.
The day came to a close with the School Head Boy Aniruddh and Associate Head Girl Sreeya proposed a vote of thanks and applauded the teachers for all the efforts taken to put up the show.
The rendition of the National Anthem by the Teachers’ choir closed the formal celebration of this exciting day, while many more surprises awaited students back in their class room.
Every child is a different kind of a flower and all together make this world a beautiful garden!
